8:30 AM Photo “A Whole Bunch of Leadership Thoughts”
John R. Hawkins , Fire Chief, CAL FIRE and Riverside County FD

Firefighters deserve and want leaders. The public expects and deserves the same. Administrators want leaders to plot the fire department public safety course of action. Why do these expectations go unanswered? Chief Hawkins will provide positive, practical ideas on improving leadership. His thoughts will parallel those of distinguished American heroes, particularly Colin Powell, George S. Patton and others. The presentation will be a combination of leadership ideals mixed with Chief Hawkins' humorous approach to learning.
